The Auburn baseball team improved their record to 10-3 on the season after beating Brown in the series opener 9-4 at Plainsman Park Friday, March 8.
Six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning put the game away for the Tigers as they took back the lead after trailing 4-3 and coasted to the victory.
The bottom of the seventh started with a solo homerun from Auburn second baseman Jordan Ebert and a error committed by the Brown centerfielder to bring home Dan Glevenyak.
Brown pitcher Eddie Fitzpatrick then walked three straight Auburn batters, loading the bases for the Tigers. With two outs, Patrick Savage doubled to left center field and Damek Tomscha, Garrett Cooper and Cullen Wacker scored.
On the night, Savage had two doubles, three RBI's and two runs.
Terrance Dedrick closed the game for the Tigers, pitching two innings and allowing only one hit, securing the win.
Auburn plays Brown in the second game of the three game series Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. in Plainsman Park.
