Men's Golf swings into second

The No. 22 Men's Golf team is in second place after the first day of play at the Samford Intercollegiate at the Hoover Country Club on Monday, March 4.

The Tigers trail Vanderbilt by four strokes.

Sophomore Micheal Johnson is tied for fifth two strokes behind Belmont's Ashton Van Horne, who leads the 94-players field at 3-under.

Dominic Bozzelli and David Zickler are tied for 16th, Niclas Carlsson is in 27th and Micheal Herbert is tied for 39th.

Play will resume Tuesday morning March 5 at 8 a.m.
