Auburn baseball was unable to grab their first series sweep of the season, losing to Texas A&M 4-1 Sunday, April 6 in College Station.
Unable to find its bats, Auburn managed only one run off of seven hits. Early in the fourth inning, Jordan Ebert hit a deep triple down the right field line. Then Cullen Wacker singled up the middle to plate Ebert, tying the game 1-1.
Texas A&M pitcher Rafael Pineda pitched 7.2 innings, and allowed one run off of six hits and recorded three strikeouts.
Auburn's starter Will Kendall pitched five innings and allowed two runs on five hits before being replaced by Dillon Ortman.
The Aggies scored four runs off of seven hits to win the game.
Auburn plays Alabama State Wednesday, April 10 in Auburn at 6 p.m.
