Auburn’s highly ranked Equestrian team took center stage on Friday. The fourth ranked Tigers took down UT-Martin 13-7 in an explosive first outing.
Senior Hailey Munger came out strong to begin the Tigers scoring rally. She defeated Gabrielle Frostic 70-0 in Reining.
Auburn walked away with 3 of the 4 MOP honors including Senior Elizabeth Benson in both Equitation over Fences and Equitation on the flat, and Lauren Diaz in Horsemanship.
Elizabeth Benson’s MOP win over Nora Wilson giver her 70 career victories which is a program record. Junior Ashley Foster sealed the win with a 76-71 win over Sarah Martinage.
The Tigers next take action on October 2nd against the University of Alabama.
