Both polls are out after week 3 of the college football season, and Auburn's ranking is a far cry from what is was in the preseason.
Following its 45-21 loss to LSU, Auburn dropped ten spots down to No. 25 in the Amway Coaches' Poll, which was released on Sunday.
Auburn was ranked No. 15 the previous week, and narrowly avoided dropping out of the poll altogether.
LSU, who was ranked No. 14, moved up five spots to No. 9.
Auburn will host Mississippi State, who is unranked, this week. The Tigers play four more currently-ranked teams (in the Coaches' Poll) over the course of the rest of the season: No. 15 Texas A&M, No. 12 Alabama, No. 6 Georgia, and No. 5 Ole Miss.
The Associated Press Top 25 Poll was released a few hours after the Coaches' Poll, and the Tigers find themselves unranked for the first time since Oct. 6, 2013.
Auburn's future opponents who are ranked in that poll include: No. 14 Texas A&M, No. 12 Alabama, No. 7 Georgia, and No. 3 Ole Miss.
