The Auburn women's tennis team competed in its final fall competition Sunday at the June Stewart Invitational in Nashville, Tennessee. The Tigers walked away from the invitational with eight total wins.
"This was a good weekend for our girls," said assistant coach Chris Hooshyar. "It was good for them to play against some quality opponents, including the reigning NCAA champions."
Auburn picked up four wins on Friday, three in singles and one in doubles. Alannah Griffin took the first win over Sarah Baron from Indiana, (6-7, 6-1, 6-3). Reka Muller took the next win for Auburn (6-2, 4-6, 7-5) over Madison Appel of Indiana. Caroline Turner lost to Tanaporn Thongsing from Wichita State (6-4, 7-5).
