The Auburn Police Division arrested and charged an Auburn man with several counts of receiving stolen property, one count of second-degree theft of property and one count of third-degree burglary, according to a news release issued by the APD.
Adam L. Floyd, 42, was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree receiving stolen property, three counts of second-degree receiving stolen property and two counts of third-degree receiving stolen property, as well as the other charges.
According to the release, the arrest came as a result of an investigation that started after a burglary was reported at the 300 block of Payne Street.
A search of Floyd's residence and business revealed the stolen item, a custom-built vanity valued at $1,000, as well as approximately $50,000 worth of building supplies, cabinetry, appliances, tools and a utility trailer, according to the release.
Floyd was taken into custody at his business by detectives and is being held at the Lee County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
