Market at Ag Heritage Park to open in new location

The Market at Ag Heritage Park will open for summer on Thursday, May 12, from 3 to 6 p.m. in a new location.

The growers-only farmers market will be beside Ag Heritage Park’s Edward L. Lowder Red Barn and Farm Implement Museum, 580-B S. Donahue Drive for summer 2016.

The location change was prompted by major construction at the corner of South Donahue and Lem Morrison drives, according to the College of Agriculture's website

The entrance will be on Donahue Drive near the South Donahue and West Samford Avenue intersection.

The Market at Ag Heritage Park was established in 2004. The Market at Ag Heritage Park, hosted by the College of Agriculture, sells locally grown produce and other local products.

The Market will be open every Thursday, 3-6 p.m., through Aug. 25.
