Auburn cornerback Jayvaughn Myers injured his knee and will undergo surgery on Thursday that will keep him out for the remainder of the season, according to a report by Auburn Undercover.
Myers, a freshman, was likely to be redshirted anyway. He committed to Auburn as a three-star prospect out of Pasco High School in Dade City, Florida, and joined the Tigers along with his brother, freshman receiver Nate Craig-Myers.
Myers was ranked the No. 38 cornerback in the nation in the 2016 recruiting class, and one of the top 50 players in the state of Florida.
