Report: Auburn running back undergoes knee surgery

Freshman running back Malik Miller has undergone surgery on his knee and will miss four to six weeks, according to a report by Auburn Undercover.

Miller had to be helped off the field during the third quarter of Auburn's win over Louisiana-Monroe Saturday after being tackled.

He was examined on the trainer's table by Dr. James Andrews and did not return to the game.

Miller finished with nine carries for 45 yards and his first collegiate touchdown, a three-yard scoring run.
