The police responded to a burglary in progress call at approximately 1 a.m. on Jan. 10. The call came from a residence near Rock Ledge Court and East Veterans Boulevard. Once officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that someone had forced entry into the residence.

The suspect fled the home and the scene, but not before he was captured on the video.

The police have released the video in an effort to try to identify the suspect, who is described as a male between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, according to the APD. Police said he most likely weighs between 150 and 180 pounds.

In the video, the suspect can be seen wearing a North Face jacket and Underarmour gloves as he shines a phone flash into the home security camera
