Tigers hire secondary coach

Gus Malzahn has found his man that will coach the Tiger secondary next season. On Saturday afternoon, Auburn hired Greg Brown from Missouri. Brown coached the cornerbacks last season at Missouri, and his Tiger unit led the SEC in interceptions with 15.

Prior to last season, Brown spent two seasons at Louisville. In 2013, Brown was Nick Saban's main secondary coach at Alabama, and served as defensive coordinator for Colorado during the 2011-12 season. Before that, Brown served as Arizona's defensive play caller in 2010. Brown has held more than 16 different assistant positions, including some at the professional level. He has coached at the collegiate level since 1984.
