The Auburn Police Division arrested a 21-year-old Auburn man, Raymond L. Hill, Saturday on felony warrants charging him with several counts of burglary.
Police developed Hill as a suspect after receiving a call about someone trespassing in a vacant apartment in the 1200 block of South College Street on Friday, March 31. When police arrived at the scene, they arrested hill and charged him with trespassing, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
But after arresting Hill, police developed him as a suspect in two other additional apartment burglaries in the same complex, which were later reported to the police on Friday and Saturday.
Victims reported that over $3,900 worth of assorted electronics and cash were stolen during the burglaries. Hill was charged with the additional counts while in jail on the original charges of trespassing and marijuana possession.
He is being held in the Lee County Jail on a $10,500 bond.
