The section of North College Street between Magnolia and Tichenor Avenues will close tonight at 9 p.m. and will reopen at approximately 6 a.m. This weeknight closure will continue for approximately two weeks for sanitary sewer replacement.
Continuing down North College Street, south of the mid-block crosswalk to Glenn Avenue will also be closed as said times. Closures are planned to cease Friday and Saturday nights.
Parking on North College Street will not be available during the nighttime closures but parking off Tichenor Avenue and Gay Street will remain open.
The crew plans to switch to daytime work once full street closures are not necessary. Daytime work can be expected on Monday, June 5. Traffic will be able to flow through daytime work.
Drivers and pedestrians are advised to find alternate routes to avoid possible delays. The construction timeline is subject to change due to weather and other contingencies.
