A spirit that is not afraid

Plainsman's Choice for Social Media of the Year: Kerryon Johnson

Kerryon Johnson's dominance on the football field is well documented. The All-SEC junior running back had a Heisman-worthy season in 2017 but Johnson excels in more than just scoring touchdowns.

Twitter? Instagram? It doesn't matter, Johnson knows what he's doing, and he does it well. Whether it's showing his school spirit, reacting to the sports world or attempting to slide into Rihanna's DM's, Johnson has without a doubt one of the most entertaining social media personas out there.

Broadcasting to 38.3K followers on Twitter (@AyeyoKEJO) and 46.K on Instagram (@kj_hey), Auburn's star player in 2017 has documented his journey to the NFL as he hopes to get drafted in the upcoming draft later this month.

Along with a unique and introspective look into the life of an Auburn student athlete, Johnson has ignited Auburn twitter with a little iron bowl trash talk and has made us all laugh with a strong sense of humor.

Johnson's social media mainly focuses on Auburn and football, as is to be expected. However, Johnson is also an avid gamer, controversially preferring "PUBG" over "Fortnite" in the battle of the latest gaming craze.

Football, Rihanna, Video Games, Hip-Hop, Johnson does it all and everyone's social media experience would be exponentially improved if they give him a follow.
