Police tape surrounds a crime scene.

Auburn Police have arrested a 17-year-old male from Opelika, charging him with murder after a shooting early Sunday morning at a McDonald's near Auburn's campus left one man dead and four others, including one Auburn student, injured

Police are not naming the suspect because he's a juvenile, authorities said. The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force assisted in the arrest. He's being charged as an adult.

The shooting Sunday morning led to the death of Evan Mikale Wilson, 20, from Tuskegee.

The 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody at a home in Auburn, police said.

The case remains under investigation and additional charges are possible.

The suspect was transported to the Lee County Jail, where he is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Auburn Police Division at 334-501-3140 or at the tip line at 334-246-1391.
