The Standard is on track for fall 2019 opening

Construction of The Standard apartment complex is going smoothly, and is on schedule to house auburn students fall 2019.

Alison Waters, the sales and marketing manager for The Standard, said there hasn’t been any obstacles or problems during the building process.

“Construction is going well in Auburn and is currently tracking on schedule,” Waters said “We are excited to bring first-class amenities and an unmatched living experience to Auburn students.”

The Standard is located on the corner of West Glenn Avenue and Gay Street and should be finished with construction by July 2019.

“Building is scheduled to be completed in July and ready for residents to move-in on August 10th,” Waters said. “A primary focus for the team has been logistics and a positive relationship with the city and adjacent landowners, which is critical when building in urban environments.”

The Standard will have 219 units and over 600 beds. It will house 683 residents at max capacity. The types of living spaces varying in size including studio apartments to 5-bedroom apartments ranging from 395 sqft. to 1,907 sqft.

The Standard will also offer a wide variety of amenities. 

“The Standard will offer a 24-hour state of the art fitness facility, Auburn’s largest rooftop pool and spa including hammocks and day beds, sauna, tanning bed, 24 hour rooftop study lounge, premium units with pool tables, private balconies, coffee lounge, and outdoor grilling,” Waters said. “All these features are included at no extra cost. We will also have retail space on the ground level.”
