A second suspect was arrested in connection to the disappearance of Aniah Blanchard, according to the Auburn Police Division.
Captain Lorenza Dorsey told The Plainsman that Antwain "Squirmy" Fisher, 35, from Montgomery, is charged with first-degree kidnapping in connection to the Southern Union State Community College student's disappearance.
He was booked into the Lee County Jail on Saturday, Dorsey said.
Dorsey said no additional information could be discussed about the arrest because of the gag order placed on the case.
Ibraheem Yazeed, 30, was the first suspect identified and charged with first degree kidnapping in connection to Blanchard's case. He was arrested on Nov. 7.
At a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, Yazeed was denied bond and his case was forwarded to a Lee County grand jury.
