Police searching for domestic shooting suspect

Police tape surrounds a crime scene.

Auburn police are currently searching for a suspect possibly involved with a domestic shooting. The shooting was reported at 11 a.m. on the 100 block of Alabama Street, according to an Auburn Police Division press release.

APD have identified 28-year-old Mary M. Williams as a person of interest. She should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the press release.

Williams was last seen driving a white four-door Mercedes-Benz CLA250 with license plate JFR957. She was seen wearing a blue shirt and green pants. Police ask that citizens dial 911 if a matching description is found.

The case is being investigated by the Detective Division of the APD.
