On April 14, Auburn Police Division arrested 58-year-old Auburn resident David Barkley Johnson, charging him with five counts of production of pornography with minors. He is currently being held at the Lee County Jail with a $125,000 bond.

The investigation into Johnson began on Feb. 5 when APD received a complaint of crimes possibly involving juvenile victims. Pornographic images were recovered during the investigation and police determined that Johnson produced them.

Evidence shows that the victims were known to Johnson and they have been notified.

APD asks that anyone with additional information calls the APD tip line at 334-246-1391 or the Detective Section at 334-501-3140.
