Auburn has landed its first wide receiver commit from the class of 2022 as 3-star WR Jay Fair committed on Tuesday.
Fair announced his commitment via Twitter.
The 5-foot-10 receiver from Rockwall-Heath High School in Rockwall, Texas, is rated as the No. 72 wide receiver in the class of 2022 and the No. 76 player from Texas, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
With Fair's commitment, Auburn now has six commits in its 2022 recruiting class. In company with Fair is 3-star safety Caleb Wooden, 3-star tight end Micah Riley-Ducker, 3-star kicker Alex McPherson, 3-star linebacker Powell Gordon and 4-star quarterback Holden Geriner.
