Someone drove through downtown Auburn and shot an airsoft gun at people near SkyBar late Tuesday night, according to an email sent by Auburn University Campus Safety and Security at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Police are investigating several reports related to the incident.
The email says that the driver, an unidentified male, drove by the area in a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Nissan, and fired airsoft bullets — small, plastic pellets — at people in the downtown area near SkyBar several times around 11:30 p.m. There are no reports of injuries, according to the email.
