Auburn landed a big pickup on Thursday, with dual-sport athlete Tre Donaldson committing to play both football and basketball for the Tigers. He is listed as a 4-star recruit in both sports.

Donaldson is the 10th commitment in Bryan Harsin’s 2022 football class and the first commit in Bruce Pearl’s 2022 basketball class.

The Florida State University High School product is ranked as the No. 18 point guard and as the No. 20 safety in his class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

As of right now, Donaldson does plan to play both basketball and football.
