Auburn Campus and Security issue warning about suspicious activity at Melton Student Center
Campus Safety issues AU Alerts to notify people of dangers and suspicious activities either on campus property or those that have the potential to end up on campus property.
Auburn University issued a campus advisory on June 12, 2023.
The email sent to students from Safety and Security at 8:51 p.m. CST said, "Urgent. Suspicious activity at Melton Student Center. Avoid the area while police investigate."
There has been no update on the matter. The Plainsman will continue to monitor this story.
UPDATE: At 9:54, Safety and Security emailed students, "ALL CLEAR. The previous urgent situation has been resolved. ALL CLEAR."
