Lee County inmate charged with electronic solicitation of minor

On Jan. 23, the Lee County Detention Center investigations unit was notified of an inmate who was reportedly soliciting a child under the age of 18. Investigators recovered evidence confirming these suspicions.

Jordan Mikel Bulger, 18, of Opelika, was charged on Jan. 29 with one count of Electronic Solicitation of a Child, a class B Felony with a $30,000 bond. 

Bulger remains at the Lee County Detention center without bond due to unrelated charges of failure to appear for 1st degree assault and certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
