Each year, the Plainsman’s Choice awards highlight the best places, events and activities in Auburn. Candidates are nominated by the editorial board and voted on by the entire staff. The hope is to connect with our audience of readers by sharing some personal opinions while also shining a light on special locations within the Auburn-Opelika community.
This year, there are three Plainsman’s Choice categories, which include: campus, food and community. Among these three categories, there are 14 sub-categories that our staff nominated and voted on, ranging from best underrated sport to best workout spot. This year provides 14 vetted, recommended and stellar winners for you to choose from and enjoy.
So, whether you’re seeking advice as an incoming student about where to get coffee, or a returning alumni wanting to know the best place to grab a bite these days, we hope you enjoy reading and feel encouraged to partake in our community even more.
