Mason Briles felt he had nowhere to turn for support. Briles said he felt no one was in his situation and would understand. He anonymously turned to Twitter to see if there was anyone out there who knew what he was going through. He quickly found many people who have gone through the same thing he was experiencing. LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Lessons have been learned

One thing we pride ourselves in as a University and a student body is being the "Auburn Family." With that in mind, it's sad to see how The Plainsman has abused their voice as the major media outlet on campus to excessively shame fellow students with no regard to the countless hours of work they put in on a weekly basis to better this University.

OPINION: Why Greek life was right for me

As my senior year at Auburn University is quickly coming to a close, I reflect on my last three and a half years with a lot of great memories. With these great memories, I owe a great amount of credit to Auburn University's Greek system. Greek Life has played a large role in my life as an Auburn student, and I would not be who I am today without this campus organization. Auburn's Greek system gave me the opportunity to get involved on campus. It helped me adjust to the heavy load of schoolwork and studying, and it introduced me to a lifetime of friendships.

I am writing in response to the SGA case published in the 10/23 edition. I went back to read the original editorial that this whole thing is centered around, about the new Security Shuttle system, and I see where the blame should really lie.

OPINION: No-Shave November for charity

As the temperature drops, the amount of clothing increases. Thicker socks, longer pants, warmer tops, bulky sweaters, fingerless gloves, which I still don't understand, and hats are all fashion pieces that could make a statement but also serve the purpose of keeping us warm.

Day in the life of GTA Adamson

A Day in the Life: Graduate teaching assistant

The day of a graduate teaching assistant is one filled with plenty of time for work and little time for play. Sarah Anne Adamson's, a graduate teaching assistant for Communication 1000, or Public Speaking, day begins early and often with frustration because of the lack of on campus parking.
