School of Forestry and Wildlife receives $218,000 research grant

Auburn University is continuing to make a difference across the globe. The Southern Forest Nursery Management Cooperative and Forest Health Cooperative are two research cooperatives in the Auburn University School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences that have received a $218,000 grant from the United States Forest Service.

The Wellness Kitchen will wrap up construction in July. Doors will open for students when classes begin in August.

When a majority of students return for the fall semester, they will have access to the University's first health conscious Wellness Kitchen. Ground was broken in early fall of 2013 and the project will be completed in July, according to Glenn Loughridge, director of campus dining.
