COVID hospitalizations at East Alabama Health drop after early September peak

Since peaking in early September, the number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 at East Alabama Health has consistently decreased. However, those requiring intensive care are there for nearly four weeks on average, as of Monday.

Sixteen COVID-19 patients are on ventilators at East Alabama Health hospitals, a number that officials felt wouldn’t be reached after vaccines became available. There are 77 patients hospitalized at EAH for COVID-19, the highest since January 2021.

Lee County Schools to require masks indoors

New dining hall opens with eight food stations

The Edge at Central Dining, located near the Stadium Parking Deck and Parker Hall, is Campus Dining’s newest facility. The 48,000-square foot space can hold up to 800 people depending on social distancing requirements, and it is able to serve 3,000 people each day during lunch hours.

Auburn grows by over 40% in ten years, census data shows

Students able to add mobile Tiger Card to phones, smart watches

As of Monday, students are able to add their Tiger Card to their iPhones, Apple Watches or Android devices and will even have the option to only use the mobile card rather than picking up the new physical Tiger Card.
