The 24th annual Old 280 Boogie is coming to Waverly, Alabama, this Saturday, April 12, for art and music enthusiasts to enjoy. Tickets are available online or at the gate for $50 a piece for ages 13+. Kids 12 or younger can enter for free. For veterans and students, there will be a 20% discount, bringing the total down to $40 per ticket.

Trader Joe’s is a popular grocery store chain that has taken over the United States with locations spanning across the nation as of January 2025. Out of its 597 locations, Auburn is not one of them. However, there has been a demand for a Trader Joes to open in the Auburn/Opelika area for a while. With multiple petitions and dedicated Facebook pages for an Auburn Trader Joes, the community's desire for the chain is apparent.
On Nov. 13, Auburn University's campus hosted various interactive displays of the Alabama National Guard for Military Appreciation Week. Every year Auburn celebrates and recognizes those who serve The United States by dedicating a week to their heroic causes.
