A clash of the gridiron Tigers will happen between Auburn and Clemson in both 2016 and 2017 per an announcement today.
The home-and-home series will have Auburn hosting Clemson on September 3, 2016 and Auburn visiting Memorial Stadium in Clemson on September 9, 2017.
The two teams are familiar with each other as they faced each other in regular season matchups in 2010-12.
Auburn fought from 17 points down to defeat Clemson 27-24 in overtime on their way to the 2010 National Championship.
The games will help Auburn fulfill the new SEC mandate that each team has to play one opponent each year from a power conference.
