Less than 24 hours since the end of his show-cause penalty, Auburn men's basketball head coach Bruce Pearl has received commitments from two four-star recruits.
Four-star forward Horace Spencer's signing coupled with Friday's commitment from 4-star small forward Danjel Purifoy has pushed Auburn's 2015 recruiting class up to No. 9 in 247sports.com's recruiting class rankings.
At 12:01 a.m. Sunday morning, Auburn basketball head coach Bruce Pearl's show-cause penalty ended.
According to Jeff Borzello, a writer for cbssport.com, Pearl met with Spencer almost immediately after the end of his penalty.
At 6'8'' and 225 pounds, Spencer is rated as the No. 57 player by 247sports.com in the 2015 class.
Purifoy is a 6'6'' 210 pound guard that could fit well in Pearl's system. The style of play that made Pearl a house-held name while at Tennessee had a strong emphasis on defense and the constant threat of getting out on the break.
