Bruce Pearl hasn't stopped working since his show-cause penalty was lifted Sunday.
After securing two top-50 prospects within twelve hours of being free to recruit, the hype began to grow.
Today, just two days before the first game of the 2014 football season, Pearl struck again, receiving a commitment from former Maryland signee Trayvon Reed, a 7-foot-1 center from Georgia.
Originally headed to Maryland, Reed was dismissed from the program after being arrested in July.
Reed is expected to enroll at Auburn in December. For the fall, according to 247Sports, Reed will attend Elevate Prep School in Del Ray, Fla.
Reed was ranked as the No. 9 center and No. 77 overall player in the class of 2014.
As for the charges in the arrest, a hearing has been set for Sept. 15.
