The United States Weather Service is projecting temperatures to climb up to 104 degrees in Auburn. That would be the hottest heat indice of the summer yet.
A heat advisory will be in affect for the majority of the afternoon.
The US Weather Service recommends residents limit exposure to the heat and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
