Auburn hosted the Auburn Classic this weekend and finished 2-0, with victories over UC-Irvine and Georgia Southern.
On Sunday, Auburn beat Georgia Southern 3-0 to win the Classic.
The first goal came only six minutes into the game, as Sophie Simantel finished off a corner kick.
Tori Ball scored the next goal for Auburn with 15 minutes left in the first half, sending the Tigers into the half with a 2-0 lead.
Logan Beal scored the last goal for Auburn with 15 minutes left off a powerful strike that deflected off the crossbar to make it 3-0.
Alicen Wright and the Auburn defense played well again for their second consecutive shutout.
On Friday night, the Tigers soundly defeated UC-Irvine 3-0 in their home opener.
Auburn scored their first goal seven minutes into the second half when Chelsea Gandy-Cromer finished off an Ellie Leek corner.
Leek then scored the next goal for the Tigers just 10 minutes later, as Kristen Dodson assisted her on a through-ball to make it 2-0.
Last year's leading scorer Casie Ramsier scored the final goal for Auburn in the 80th minute from a Haley Gerken free kick for her first goal of the season.
The Auburn defense held solid all game, only allowing one shot. Wright started in goal and recorded the shutout.
Auburn moves to 3-1-0 on the season. Their next match is Friday, September 5th at 4:30 p.m. CT against Memphis in the Rebel Classic in Oxford, Mississippi.
