Auburn women's soccer was defeated 2-1 by Kentucky on the road Sunday evening.
A second half goal by Kentucky gave the Wildcats the lead, and Auburn was unable to answer in the last 20 minutes.
Kentucky opened the scoring in the 27th minute, as Jade Klump was able to convert off an Arin Gilliland cross.
Auburn's Casie Ramsier answered quickly though, scoring from 30 yards out in the 29th minute off a Kristen Dodson assist. It was her third goal of the season.
Kentucky scored the second half's only goal in the 66th minute, as Zoe Swift headed in a corner to take the lead for good.
Despite the two allowed goals, goalkeeper Alyse Scott played well once again, keeping the Tigers in the game with several saves.
Auburn falls to 6-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in conference play. Their next game is Friday against Ole Miss at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
