On Sunday, Auburn's women's soccer team defeated Minnesota 3-1 in the second game of the Rebel Classic in Oxford, Mississippi.
Courtney Schell, Brooke Ramsier, and Logan Beal were the goal-scorers for the Tigers.
Schell scored the first goal of the game off a corner from Ramsier 17 minutes in, scoring in her second consecutive game.
Minnesota tied it up though 11 minutes before the half, as Rachel McCloskey headed it past Alyse Scott.
The defense held solid in the second half and held the Gophers scoreless after halftime.
With only 10 minutes to play, Ramsier scored the game-winner off a free kick into the top right corner.
Only three minutes later, Beal added cushion to the Tigers' lead, scoring her third goal of the year.
Auburn moves to 5-1-0 on the year, and they have scored three goals in four straight games.
Auburn's next game is Friday, September 12 at 7 against Samford at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
