Soccer wins fourth consecutive behind third straight shutout

The Auburn women's soccer team won their fourth consecutive game Friday night, beating Memphis 3-0 in the first game of the Rebel Classic in Oxford, Mississippi.
Kristen Dodson opened the scoring for the Tigers 16 minutes into the game, scoring off a header from a Haley Gerken free kick.
The score would hold until the second half, when Ellie Leek and Courtney Schell scored two goals in a three-minute span to seal it for Auburn.
The defense held solid for Auburn once again, and Alyse Scott recorded her third consecutive shutout.
Auburn moves to 4-1-0 on the year. Their next game is vs. Minnesota on Sunday at noon in Oxford, Mississippi.
