The Auburn volleyball team was defeated by No. 6 Florida State 3-2 (17-25, 28-26, 25-17, 16-25, 8-15) in their road match Tuesday in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Tigers are now at an even 5-5 record after they were pushed to a fifth set for the third straight match by the undefeated Seminoles.
While Auburn struggled in the final set, Florida State found their rhythm and posted 19 kills in the last two sets.
The Tigers were not able to bring home a win, but put up consistent individual statistics.
Freshman Courtney Crable and sophomore Stephanie Campbell had 13 kills each, while freshman Macy Reece posted nine, redshirt freshman Kristel Moor had seven, and sophomore Breanna Barksdale had six on the night.
Barksdale led the team with five blocks, while Moor had four.
Freshman setter Alexa Filley assisted her teammates 41 times in Tully Gymnasium, while recording eight digs. She now has 383 assists so far this season.
Alyssa Ivey finished with a team-high 17 digs, while Taylor Schill recorded 10 in the Tigers' loss.
Auburn will look to improve its record in the win column this weekend by returning home for the War Eagle Invitational, where the Tigers will face Florida A&M on Friday night, and Jacksonville State and Northwestern State Saturday.
