Following Auburn's 35-31 win over Ole Miss Saturday, linebacker Kris Frost has been named the Southeastern Conference's Defensive Player of the Week.
On the season, Frost is third overall in tackles for the Tigers with 46. He also has six tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one recovery.
One of those three forced fumbles sealed Auburn's win in Oxford, as Frost pulled down Rebel wide receiver Laquon Treadwell just shy of the goal line as the ball popped out with 1:30 to go in the game.
Frost is the second Tiger defender to take home the award in 2014, joining Joshua Holsey, who won it after an 11-tackle performance in a road victory against Kansas State.
