McCormack named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Auburn cross country runner Ty McCormack was voted SEC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year Tuesday by league coaches.
The senior has been outstanding this season. He has won the South Alabama Opener, Panorama Farms Invite and the Crimson Classic, and he was the runner-up at the SEC Cross Country Championships.
Along with this honor, McCormack has also been named SEC Runner of the Week four times this season.
A Clemson transfer, McCormack is earning his MBA at Auburn after receiving his bachelor's degree in language and international trade from Clemson.
