Auburn police arrested and charged two men with attempted murder in connection to a Nov. 30 shooting.
Police said Shockey Smarr, 26, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling, possession of marijuana, criminal trespassing, failure to appear in court and a probation violation on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Police are investigating three shooting incidents that occurred between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2.
According to police, Smarr was the second suspect arrested in relation to a shooting into a dwelling on Nov. 30 at the 400 block of Webster Road.
Police previously arrested and charged Marqerious Canada, 23, of Waverly on Dec. 3 with attempted murder in connection with the Nov. 30 shooting.
No injuries were reported in the shooting, but gunfire damaged the house, according to police.
Both suspects turned themselves in at the Auburn Police Division on the days they were arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Smarr is being held on $125,800 bond.
Canada was held on a $75,000 bond, but was released on bail, according the Lee County Sheriff's office.
