The banners that were removed from Auburn's new scoreboard in August are now being replaced.
The banner on the right side of the board is a photo of Toomer's Oaks. Construction crews had not begun adding the left banner late Wednesday morning, but in August, the left banner pictured Auburn's golden eagle, Nova.
The original banners were mosaics that included photos of former and current student-athletes, coaches and faculty, and the photos only stayed in place for two days.
"The banners were removed, because the sizing and coloring weren't done correctly," Kirk Sampson, Auburn's director of sports information, told The Plainsman at the time.
The banners will likely be completed by the time Auburn returns home on Oct. 31 to play Ole Miss.
