Cornerback Carlton Davis made immediate contributions his freshman season, and he was honored for his efforts on Thursday.
Davis was selected to the All-SEC Freshman Team, which was voted on by league coaches. He led the team with three interceptions and was eighth with 45 tackles.
Auburn had one player selected to the team for the third consecutive year. Alex Kozan was named an All-SEC freshman in 2013, and Braden Smith received the honor last year.
Alabama and Texas A&M led the league with four players each selected.
