For the second time in less than a week, Auburn has landed a transfer.
DeSean Murray, a small forward from Presbyterian College, committed to play for coach Bruce Pearl and the Tigers on Sunday, per ESPN, six days after Houston point guard Ronnie Johnson did the same.
The 6-foot-5 Murray led the Big South Conference in scoring at 20.2 points per game, and averaged 7.4 rebounds as a sophomore.
"I chose Auburn because it felt like the perfect fit: the team, the coaches, it was just all what I was looking for," Murray told ESPN's Jeff Borzello. "And I really trust the coaching staff with my development, so I just know it's going to be the best move and the right move for me."
Murray will sit out the 2016-17 season, but he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
