"Joining a sorority brought me fast friends, a home away from home, and girls that I knew had my back," says Alex McFadden, a sophomore and Auburn University's Panhellenic President. "If you are having trouble deciding whether or not to sign up for Fall Formal Recruitment, I highly encourage you to just try it out!"
This year's Fall Formal Recruitment Dares are August 12-18. Recruitment registration begins online Thursday, June 1, and there is an $80 non-refundable fee to register.
Potential members will move in on Friday, August 11, and parties begin at 8 a.m. the following morning. After the week, bids will be distributed on Friday, August 18 in the Auburn Arena.
"You are not alone," McFadden says to those who are unsure about registering. "You have 1,500 other girls going through it with you, and you will have a Pi Chi to help encourage and guide you through the week."
Auburn Panhellenic will host informational sessions during each Camp War Eagle in Student Center room 2222. Parent sessions will be every 25 minutes beginning at 1 p.m. and ending at 2:50 p.m., and student sessions will be every 25 minutes beginning at 2:35 p.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
