No. 4 Auburn and Alabama will have to wait one more day to begin its three-game series.
Friday night’s game between the Tigers and Crimson Tide was postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 1 p.m. CST. Game two will begin one hour following the conclusion of game one.
It will be the second straight weekend Auburn has played a Saturday doubleheader due to rain. The Tigers swept a doubleheader from No. 8 Mississippi State last weekend.
Keegan Thompson (5-2, 2.05 ERA) will start game one for Auburn followed by Casey Mize (6-1, 1.23 ERA) in game two. It will be Mize’s first appearance since April 13 as he returns from forearm tightness.
