Movies to look forward to in 2018

Here is a look at some of the scheduled blockbusters hitting theaters in the first half of 2018

January:

Maze Runner: The Death Cure” – The finale to James Dashner’s Maze Runner Saga.

February:

“Fifty Shades Free” – Probably full of good family fun, this is final installment of E. L. James’ Fifty Shades series.

Black Panther” – This upcoming Marvel movie follows T’Challa as he returns to his native country as king of Wakanda.

March:

“A Wrinkle in Time” – The film adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s 1963 children’s book by the same name.

“Ready Player One” – A Stephen Spielberg film set inside a virtual world and based on a novel by Ernie Cline.

April:

“The New Mutants” Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams stars with others as a group of young mutant teenagers in this spinoff of a Marvel Comic

May:

“Avengers: Infinity War” – The next installment of a large-scale Marvel movie. This movie will combine characters from every corner of the Marvel Universe and is confirmed to only be part one of two.

“Slenderman” – The movie adaptation of various horror-survival video game installments starring the same faceless, suited figure

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” – This year’s Star Wars film tells the story of young Han Solo and Lando Calrissian before they are involved in the Galactic Civil war of the original trilogy

June:

“Deadpool 2” – Deadpool’s return to the big screen where he apparently battles with having lost his sense of taste.

“The Incredibles 2” – Pixar’s long-awaited sequel to the 2004 animated film about a family with superpowers in a time where no one wants a super hero.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” – While details of this film’s plot have not been revealed, it will continue the storyline of the previous two Jurassic World movies.
