Deshaun Davis' monster senior season has earned him a spot atop the Southeastern Conference.
Davis was named to the Associated Press's All-SEC first team, while teammate Derrick Brown earned a nod on the second team, announced Monday morning. The SEC coaches voted both Davis and Brown on the same teams the next morning.
The Tigers' unquestioned defensive leader and "quarterback" of Kevin Steele's unit, Davis leads Auburn in tackles with 107, including 14 tackles for loss. He ranks fifth in the conference in tackles.
Brown, a projected top-15 prospect in April's NFL Draft, has 45 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and a trio of sacks.
