Auburn's top remaining offensive line target in the 2019 class has the Tigers at No. 1. And the gap between one and two is growing.

Three-star Kamaar Bell (Colquitt County, Ga.) said Auburn has a "huge" lead in his recruitment after his official visit ended Sunday. He listed Louisville and Florida State as contenders as well.

"It's huge," Bell said of Auburn's grip on his No. 1 spot. "It's huge right now. Like, very big."

To Bell, two factors stick out about the Tigers — need at the position and coaching.

Bell said during the visit Auburn told him he projects as a center should he sign with the Tigers. The nation's No. 64-rated guard said he's never played center, but the move wouldn't bother him.

"That's fine with me," Bell said. "I can get down and get it done."

Even with a possible position switch along the line, Bell said he believes he can compete up front immediately.

"It's like, I can come in and probably compete for the starting job as a freshman," Bell said. "That's really good."

Auburn offensive line coach J.B Grimes has also made an impact on his decision. Bell said Grimes checks all his boxes in what he looks for in a position coach.

"His attitude," Bell said. "His demeanor. It's always up and hyper. He's always going to be fair to me, always going to be truthful to me."

Bell's visit was hosted by Auburn reserve offensive lineman Brodarious Hamm.

"It was great," Bell said. "I got to meet all the players. I really had a good time up here. It's really like home now."

Auburn will visit Bell next week. The lineman said will sign Feb. 6 on National Signing Day.

Between now and then, Bell said there's "really nothing" more Auburn has to do to sway his decision.
